On my second visit, I was told that I'd be soon needing new rear brake pads on a bike with a particularly difficult-to-access rear caliper. Following on from a half decent first visit, all following visits have been curt and indifferent. It's strange that everyone seems to rave about this place so maybe it's just my face or my bikes that they don't like.Or maybe it's because I don't fall for their upselling techniques where there's always something you might need during an MOT. Jackson Chiublé: I used to use this place for MOTs. I believe that this level of service is unacceptable and regretfully have to revise my review to 1 star. I paid around £129 for the e-bike service, and yet, I ended up with a bike that now has defects, with a display and throttle mount that are damaged, and a rusty chain. Moreover, the new chain that I specifically requested for rusted in just 48 hours, even though it did not rain during that time. When I brought this to their attention, they denied responsibility, which was frustrating. When picking up my bike back, I noticed cracks on my throttle and display mounts, which they had cable-tied back to my handlebars. Thank you for making GP Bikes your powersports authority.Robert Wells: I have an electric bike and needed the brakes repaired, they was super busy but managed to get my electric bike repaired within the hour.Very professional couldn't really ask for more from them.Updated: I had a few spokes break on my back wheel, so asked cycle hub if they could fix them and give the bike a service clean they had to order customer spokes as mine are not the normal size.Due to having to order in some spokes it took a few days but once they had gotten the spokes the bike was fixed the same day plus they had given me the extra spokes that came with the pack instead of just keeping them themselves. This is the only bicycle repair shop in Peterborough I'll use the customer service is perfect.*I recently had my bike serviced by this establishment, and unfortunately, I am disappointed with the outcome this time around. My desire is to continue to extend my appreciation to you with every encounter you have with us. I would like to personally thank my amazing team and you, our customers, for making GP Bikes a success. We have built many friendships and truly appreciate that you have trusted our team members time and time again, to prepare you for the open road, race track, or trail. Over the years, GP Bikes has grown from one employee to over 60 enthusiastic team members, excited to serve and discuss our shared powersports passion with you. Our apparel, parts and accessory offerings now include not only motorcycle items but also snowmobile, ATV/ UTV and even marine goods. Our premium brand lineup has grown to include Ducati, Triumph, KTM, Honda and, most recently, Husqvarna and GasGas. In recent years, our expansion efforts have moved online as we have overhauled our website and added to our online catalogue in an effort to serve powersports enthusiasts across Canada. Since then, we have added another 6,000 square feet to our service department and showroom to serve our customers better. In 2011, we moved to a 24,000 square foot mega-store in Whitby, ON, and didn't stop there. While aiming to provide a well-rounded motorcycle dealership, GP Bikes underwent four renovations until the capacity of our small, strip-mall location just wasn't enough. GP Bikes' journey began in the year 2000 with five used motorcycles, a 1200 square foot facility in Ajax, ON, one employee and a dream.
